Australia So basically, this is the story: I had a laptop running Traktor Pro 2.5.1, with a Kontrol S2 and a DJ Control mp3 e2. All ran fine, drivers worked.
Then I got a new laptop, this time it had USB 3.0 ports. So I installed Traktor Pro 2 with my Kontrol S2, and it was all fine. It worked with USB 3.0 but I switched to 2.0 when I heard there was issues with it. Anyway so I went to install Hercules Dj Control mp3 e2 drivers and firstly I downloaded the wrong ones, so I uninstalled them and downloaded the latest HDJS v.3 2012 drivers. They installed fine, worked with VDJ but not Traktor. And after I tried mapping with no outcome, I closed Traktor and boom, BSOD.
Numark DJ2GO Midi Controller, and Hercules MP3 e2 Midi Controller. Talk about Serato DJ Lite / Intro software and controllers. Numark DJ2GO Midi Controller, and Hercules MP3 e2 Midi Controller. Can the midi controllers of Numark DJ2GO, and Hercules MP3 e2 be used on the new Serato DJ Intro System? I have both of these midi controllers and I. The Hercules DJ Control MP3 e2 Dual Deck DJ Controller is a compact controller that includes 2 jog wheels to navigate within tracks, a crossfader, and 2 volume faders for mixing.

It said DPC issue which I detect as driver issues, as I unistalled them and had no BSOD issues. So I guess my drivers are the issues. I used the original drivers off the disk and the MIDI driver did not install properly, everytime I tried it had a yellow triangle in the Device Manager. Hercules still works fine in VDJ but Traktor, although it recognizes it is there, won't work with any of the MIDI values. I tried MIDI Monitor, no MIDI was detected, although it knew the e2 was there. I don't know what to do, I wasn't sure if installing my S2 whilst in USB 3.0 did something to Traktor, and wasn't sure to reinstall it. But basically I'm nervous because this laptop is brand new and I don't want it to BSOD to death, so I need to be careful.

Traktor® Have you tried to clean your registry data base before re-installing the drivers? Something like a CCleaner? You can do something like this: Launch it and run a complete clean-up of your operating system, as well as of the REGISTRY database and uninstall everything you have installed from Hercules. To uninstall everything from Hercules, you need to click on Tools, while you are there you need to select one at a time each folder that is from Hercules and click Run Uninstaller. After go to Registry and click on Scan for issues, wait until the green bar reaches 100% and click on Fix Issues, a window will pop up and will ask you if you want to back-up and you hit No, after that another window will pop up and you need to click on Fix All Selected Issues and Close.
Last step will be to click on Cleaner and click on Analyze, again wait till the green bar reaches 100% and click on Run cleaner. Done, so now you can go again and re-install the drivers: Also, are you sure you have 2.0 ports on your laptop too, not only 3.0? You can try and purchase an adapter that will convert the 3.0 in a 2.0 USB port.
Good luck Chaos is my middle name.
